How To Pack Custom Domain To Your Blogger Site Using Whogohost.com, Gigalayer.com And other Naija Host

You can refer the below details to configure blogger account with domain name:

1) Please log in to your Blogger account and go to More options > Settings
2) On Settings page choose Basic from the left-panel menu and click Add a custom domain.
3) Enter your domain name with www into the empty field and click Save . After this you will see two CNAME records which you need to set on our side.
>> You will receive an error message notifying you that in order to use a custom domain for your blog you need to set certain DNS records on your registrar's side.

Now, here is your issue that you are referring to.

Please note that if you still haven't verified your domain with Google you will need to do this before setting the needed DNS records on our side. Otherwise you will not be able to complete all the required steps.

To create the required DNS records:

1) Log in to your client area
2) Choose Domains > My domains in menu line
3) Click DNS button on new-opened page
4) You can see a table with four columns on DNS Management page : Host Name, Record Type, Address and Priority. Set first CNAME here: please enter “www” in Host Name field, choose CNAME (Alias) record type, put “ghs.google.com” into Address field.
5) Attention! Second CNAME record consists of two unique strings which are different for every domain. In your case you will get the right strings for your second CNAME record after you accomplish the Step 3.
6) Set second CNAME on your DNS Management page: please enter string 1 in Host Name field, choose CNAME (Alias) record type, put string 2 into Address field.
7) After you set CNAME records please wait until these changes take effect. Usually DNS records are updated in 30 minutes.
8) Then enter your custom domain name with www again and click Save. If you receive a warning message it means that your DNS records are not updated properly yet. Please wait for some more time and try saving your custom domain again.

From now on your custom domain will be used as your blog address and the old URL will be also redirected to it. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours until this redirect starts working.
