Some Reasons Why You Need To Own Your Design And Css For Your Wapka Hosted Sites

Wapka, so far has been moving
mountains. Wapka has been of good
use to users with little or no
knowledge of web technology. Even
some experts still take wapka into
consideration.

Benefits of wapka
1. Wapka is a very easy software to
use.

2. It is an online source of building a
site of any kind; social network,
forum, static page etc.

3. It gives users with little or no
knowledge/experience of web
technology an opportunity to own and
build a successfull site of their choice.

4. It helps to teach more on web
technology, as it is simple to use and
code. A serious and determined new
web developer can learn by using
wapka.
These are quite a few of the benefits. If
you have more suggestions, share with
us using the comment box.
Back to our topic of concentration,
there are a lot of users joining wapka
everyday. In their bid to start
something quick, they learn that they
can just take a css link of another site
and use it. Some even go as far as
copying the design of the site because
they feel if a successful site is using the
style, then its the best.

Demerits of using a pre-existing css
1. It is not your own, so your site does
not have an identity. Atleast vary it a
little.

2. If by chance, the owner of the css
link edits something in the css, and
you are not aware, it affects your site's
look.

So what do you do?
I am not against using a css link to
your benefit. But I like he idea of
making it your own. You can do this by
visiting the css link with your browser.
You will see a lot of css style codes.
Copy them and put it in your default
css style in wapka located at: edit site -
global settings - HEAD tags
(meta,style,...) - Edit style sheet file
(styles.css) . Put the code you copied
into the box you see in that page and
save. In the next 30mins - 3hrs, it will
be set. Now its yours.
I also suggest you change some
colours, just to vary the css style. But if
you want to use it like that no
problem.

I hope this helps. Thank you.
