Rachel Ikekhuame teaches how to Grow Your Hair Naturally In Africa

Rachel Ikekhuame on of the best female model in west Africa, she said Growing out your hair naturally can be very challenging considering some factors  such as the humid weather, which leaves our hair brittle and dried out,African hair can be fun if you know your hair type and set good goals. African hair has the tendency of being too fragile from lack of moisture and nutrients, or from overexposure to chemicals. the key to growing your hair naturally is to nourish your hair with love, oils, and other treatments to keep your hair strong enough to grow long without dryness and breakage.
However there are ways to reduce these effects and make it less to zero noticeable.here are some tips that you can follow to retain your moisture rock either your TWA or your beautiful curls in our humid weather

FIRSTLY KNOW YOUR HAIR TYPE
so there are different hair types, there is the
TYPE 1 (straight hair)
This type of hair can be found commonly among people of asian and european descent, this hair style doesnt hold curls well and it is prone to limpness.
TYPE 2 (wavy hair)
Soft or deep waves with little to no curl.  Coarse and stays close to the scalp in long “s” shaped curves.  Doesn’t usually have a lot of body.
Type 3 (Curly Hair)
Unique texture.  Fine and soft “q” shaped pattern.  Doesn’t have a lot of sheen.  Has lots of body.  Straightens when wet and curls as it dries.
Type 4 – Coily / Kinky Hair – Very tightly curled and wiry.   Type 4 is usually broken up into 4a,4b & 4c types.  4a hair has a looser coil and strands have a spiral shape.  4b & 4c hair has a tighter kink. Strands have a zig-zag shape like the letter “z” and is the most fragile and driest of the types.
APPLY THE RIGHT PRODUCTS
Now this would sound very difficult as you would ask “how do i know what product works for me?
The key to finding the best oils, conditioners & moisturizers that suits your hair type is to try almost every single one of them, at least in my case it worked. After I transitioned, i started out with all sorts of products( check out product reviews) coconut oil, hempseed oil, castor oil, Argan oil, Shea butter, emu oil… and some Gro Garnic products. I started breaking out seriously on my fore head due to excess products application, after watching some videos on youtube and surfing some natural hair care websites i decided to dump some products cause they weren’t what my hair wanted at that particular period. My holy grail products for are shea butter and coconut oil.
CREATE A REGIMEN

PROTECTIVE HAIR STYLES
retaining your length is key as our hair texture is easily prone to breakage. So you have to embrace all sorts of hair style at least till you are able to handle your hair carefully.styles as braids, twists, cornrows will be a great relief for you as it will make you avoid styling your hair daily thereby prevents you from straining your hair and scalp.

thats what we have for today.
Thanks...
