The home of leading Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw in the Lekki phase 1 area of Lagos caught fire on Thursday.
The fire started around 3pm and neighbours struggled to put it out.
According to the Cable, eyewitnesses said the fire outbreak might have been caused by an electric surge in one of the private rooms in the house.
The situation has been brought under control.
