The Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Prof. a new acting Vice Chancellor for the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST)
.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, Mr. Opunabo Inko-Tariah, who made the announcement, said that the new VC is Professor Blessing Didia.
Inko-Tariah said Wike also approved the appointment of Prof. Boma Oruwari as acting Deputy Vice Chancellor of the institution.
“Both appointments are sequel to the expiration of the tenure of Prof. Barineme Fakae as Vice - Chancellor and are with effect from July 31, 2015,” it said.
