Chelsea Complete Rahman Signing

Chelsea have moved to alleviate their problem at the left full back position where they have no naturally left footed player with the signing of Augsburg's Baba Rahman.
Rahman has emerged as a top player in Augsburg over the last 12 months and the German outfit were unwilling to let go of the 21 year old Ghanaian full back. Chelsea had an original bid rejected by Augsburg and had to upgrade their bid. The final bid by Chelsea was reported to be in the region of 20 million Euros and this figure forced Augsburg to cave and allow the player leave for Stamford bridge.

Chelsea would be happy to be bringing in a quality defender as they have suffered a terrible start to the season as they have failed to win all three competitive games they have taken part in this season. drawing against Swansea City and losing to Manchester City and Arsenal, conceding 6 goals and only scoring 2.
